river creek casino buffet

Waited another 15 mins for the drinks to arrive. A note though, the regular menu prices are a bit on the high side compared to other restaurants. Recommend having a washroom inside the restaurant. Went to eat after another event as the restaurant we previously decided on closed early. No drink service. This was the first time I took my mother to The Sage and she absolutly loved it the food was woderful the service was good I had the Macoroni and meat casserole and it was just perfect.{/INSERTKEYS}{/PARAGRAPH} I had the 8oz steak asked for medium, got medium well closer to well done. Not a restaurant worthy of fine dining. The food was not that great Quite Disappointed. Both arrived in a reasonable time. Molasses and brown sugar "pork and beans", sea-salt pomme frites. Both were prepared perfectly. I did mention just to make them aware. The restaurant was definitely understaffed which seemed to the root of most of our problems. Very strange with the huge stodgy onion rings. Waited 15 mins for drink or to be taken. Would have liked a heads up though. Awesome meal and service. We will be rethinking where we go for dinner before a show at the venue from now on. Might try it again and try a different selection. We arrived and it was a whole new restaurant with a completely different menu. My wife has MS and its hard for her to walk, the women's washroom was to far. Definitely worth the try at the lower costs. Dessert was free because of the food mistakes, thanks but it was supposed to be a lava cake and there was no lava, cold in the middle and dry. Food was bland. We found your food to be very over priced the service was not all that hot would not recommend it. We were expecting to dine at Sage. Service was top notch! There was a concert, so the restaurant was busy, but we had been there a few weeks earlier for a concert and the service was excellent, along with very good food. I think there needs to be some improvements to the menu. It used to be our favourite for dinner and cocktails before a show. The food was satisfactory but nothing outstanding considering that the prices were very high, as the restaurant began to fill service became nonexistent. Prime rib was over done. The lamb was a bit dry and tough. We were thrown off guard at first. Very good food and dining experiance, our waiter could have looked a little more happy! Slow cooked brisket, pan seared scallops, jus, buttered cabbage. I will be back Waiter was very attentive at first but as he got more tables our service declined. There were couples at 4 top tables yet it seemed liked lots of 2 person tables in a quieter area. We each tried multiple small plates and plenty of food was provided to each for to consider the works a meal. Server was pleasant but inexperienced. Ordered the lamb. The service was very slow and the waiter was not friendly, the food was not what would be expected at a fine dining restaurant. Did find the seasoning a bit on the salty side on a couple of the dishes, but in general was okay. Food was very good and portions were just right and the dessert was fantastic our waiter recommended it to me. I had the Brussels sprouts and they were ok but came to the table like warm. Appetizer mussels cold and no flavour. Rosemary rubbed, in-house smoked seasoning, whipped potatoes, roasted corn cob, bacon crunch. Waiter was not very attentive and he was not very knowledgeable about the menu items. Plates tried and would be up to your personal tastes felt seasoning was off, aka good, but not wow - "Bear and the Flower" Baked Pork Meatballs, Prairie Macaroni Bake If there is an adversion to cigarette smoke you will notice it. Burger was far to spicy, after waiter told us it was very spicy at all. Mona's mushrooms, Prosciutto, caramelized wildflower honey, pumpkin seeds. We still haven't ordered our meal as of being there for 30 mins. Appetizers came before cocktails. Smoked Cornish game hen, "Bear and the Flower" side ribs, pickles, mustard, smoked baby red potatoes. The taste was ok but can't say it was outstanding, good thing it was half price would not have been worth total value. Our waiter really made this a memorable experience. We did not leave the restaurant until almost 10 pm. We were seated at the back of the restaurant and I could still smell the cigarette smoke which interfered with my taste buds. I was really looking forward to dinner here and left disappointed. Food and service was amazing. Charred leek sauce, in house smoked Swiss cheese, sole rolls with ricotta, arugula and bacon. Plates tried and definitely recommended - crispy trout, lobster chowder, crab cake. The service was great considering how busy the restaurant was we got our good in good time. Overall food was ok but not an exceptional food experience. We waited 25 min. Very poor. I had one of the best steaks of my life! Horrible service. He looked very unfriendly not a smile was cracked through all of our dinner. We arrived with great expectations, were seated at a very nice quiet table in the back room and our waiter arrived promptly to take our drink and dinner orders. Even though we had flagged him down and asked him for a dessert menu he brought us our bill instead, he then took our dessert order. Food was just okay. Well thought out items on the menu. {PARAGRAPH}{INSERTKEYS}Tomato onion relish, in-house smoked Swiss cheese, grilled rye. Pan seared camelina oil and garlic, lentils, oil and parsley, grilled lemon. Get Edmonton River Cree on the list of locations. We were seated on arrival. All in all, we were very happy we decided to give The Sage a try and would not hesitate in booking again. A few of the reviews complained about the smell of cigarette smoke spoiling their meals, but we did not notice this at all in the restaurant and we are not smokers. Once we did order it was almost an hour before it arrived on the table. Peppercorn sauce, corn, ground Alberta chuck, "Sylvan Star" grizzly Gouda. Dinner was blah not worth the price. Ben, our waiter, was very attentive and the food was very delicious. Found the cigarette smell offensive Calamari was good. Was pleasantly impressed with the food and quantities provided. Beet salad was good but for the price point nothing exceptional. We pleasantly found the service and food to be excellent. Nothing between Toronto and Vancouver?? I would totally recommend the brisket and scallops. This place is really changing and not for the better. Service not the best. We only saw our waiter as he ran around trying to keep up with Waiting and also busing many tables! The meal was fantastic. Tenderloin, snow crab, game hen, prawns, whipped potatoes, corn cobs. Waited 45 minutes for meal. My friend ordered a steak and it tasted like bear meat.
